Camp We Run Long is a space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to learn and experience the joy of being in the outdoors and on the trail.
Our goal is to grow the presence of under represented communities in trail running and to amplify diversity at races, together.
Taking place in Magical Buena Vista,colorado
The camp is open to 25 participants of all Abilities and is practically free!
All travel, lodging, transportation and food will be covered while in Colorado (excluding flights to/from Denver).
Participants will also receive a free entry into the West Line Winder 30K or 50K.
This event is a collaboration between We Run Long, Altra Running, and Freestone Endurance.

WHERE
Buena Vista, CO - Silver Cliff Ranch
Centrally located near Buena Vista, Colorado, at the base of Mount Princeton, Silver Cliff Ranch hosts groups in rustic cabins and lodges.
With a hot spring fed pool and views for days, you’re not going to want to leave.
Each cabin can house up to four people and will be all female, all male, or all non binary.

THURSDAY
Shuttles leave Denver International Airport at 1pm and 3pm
Arrival, meet & greet, land acknowledgment, kick off celebration
FRIDAY
AM activity, breakfast, workshop, lunch, BV town trip - packet pickup, course preview run and shakeout, workshop, downtime, dinner
SATURDAY
West Line Winder 30k & 50K
SUNDAY
Travel home, depart 8am
DETAILS
This is a full service camp open to 25 participants and hosted in Buena Vista, Colorado. Full service means that lodging, meals and transportation to, from and in between the airport is included! Participants are responsible for transportation to the Denver Airport. We are happy to accommodate any dietary preference or allergy restrictions.
ALL ABILITIES of athletes are welcome and activities will include options for varying levels of experience. Group runs will be no-drop - aka no person left behind, wait at intersections! Off the trails you can take part in any or all of our workshops, which are meant to better equip, prepare and enhance your time on the trails and in the mountains.
